Counselling
During our sessions you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions to help you gain a better understanding of yourself. The therapeutic relationship will give you a safe space to be your authentic self without judgement or criticism.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. It focuses on current problems rather than issues from the past. Learning how to change negative thought patterns will improve the way you feel and as a result, change your behaviours. It is particularly effective with anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias and PTSD. The work will provide you with a tool kit to take forwards with you through life.
Psychotherapy
If you are suffering from psychological problems that have built up over the course of a long period of time then psychotherapy can be beneficial for you. It is a longer-term process of treatment that identifies emotional issues and the background to problems and difficulties. It will help you to understand your thoughts feelings and actions more clearly.
